The Chinese New Year is the third New Moon after the Winter Solstice. The New Moon in Aquarius on February 7 will usher in the Chinese Year of the Rat, and year 4705 of the Chinese calendar. Generally, in a Rat Year there will be an emphasis on regeneration and renewal.
